Counterintuitive: the DFL is run by people who have no idea what it's like to live in an urban area.
Turned away from the MN DFL event due to a bag policy that didn’t appear anywhere in the invitation.
The suggestion was to put my bag in my car. I took the bus
I’m curious how many people were turned away due to other bags (bike bags, groceries, diaper bags) and didn’t have storage options
Elevator lobby with red fluid and a vacuum hose
Hallway with deep red liquid and a maintenance person
Fun morning at LPM Apartments. 36 story building currently has no working elevators, no working heat, and a mysterious red liquid flooding the lower floors.
Some stations also alert our customers when a bus is about to approach by a pulsing light behind our iconic T logo at the station
I don’t even remember where I learned that originally, but here’s the official documentation. www.metrotransit.org/what-is-metr....
Not saying I agree with it, but traffic control is allowed to park in bike lanes when writing tickets. library.municode.com/mn/minneapol...
This article makes it seem like 2,000 people is a lot, even though buses already bring 12,000 people to Nicollet every single day.
Thank you for 10 years of eggcellent memories! On September 1st Eggys Diner will be permanently closed. We appreciate all the support all these years. ❤️Eggys staff
Sounds like Eggy’s Diner will be closing permanently on September 1st.
Kyle Jones having a harrowing journey down Minnehaha Creek on a peacock rated pool safe only.
I broke my phone almost immediately after this photo was taken. Harrowing indeed!
There’s a surprise appearance in this episode, and it’s not the mayor
I keep saying, the trains should just start moving with the doors open. Force them to make a choice!

All Day Service & 10 Minute Effective Headways at Maple Grove Transit Station and Station 73 30 minute headway service on an all day express route Effective 10 minute headways at primary station with synchronized schedules This is a route scheduling approach that is recommended based on the overlapping sections of routes that all go through the key stations - either Maple Grove Transit Station or Station 73 - and end in downtown Minneapolis. By taking all routes that serve those origin and destination points and aligning the schedules, each route may still only come every 30 minutes, but a bus going to the key destination will come every 10 minutes.

New Plymouth Metrolink and Maple Grove Transit services coming soon. All day 30 minute headways is huge!
Part one of my two part series on the 29th St/midtown corridor is out! I love and bike the Midtown Greenway all the time, but always wanted to learn more about how and why it was built in the first place.
"Kyle Jones got macheted trying to run for park board" would make a great episode, now that the field is clearing.
He’s on the credentials committee
It wasn’t my fault 😅 They had the wrong man
I'd say that Kyle gives the impression that Minneapolis is full of people who care for each other, and help out.
I got three notifications from 311 while recording this episode. They were all successful citations. The system works!
Up to important business today.
Transit Oriented Culver's mapping
Me sitting with a caucus sticker
I caucused today for a Connected City because I want a Minneapolis where public transit and livability are prioritized. If you want to learn more you can sign up here: bit.ly/connectedmpls #CaucusForAConnectedCity
Clearly prioritizing transit & livability is important in our city. Enough that people took risks to invite their friends & neighbors to caucus with them, and that's not just a "hey, come to this thing convo". It _is_ an invitation into leading and I'm so glad for everyone who did it.
🚨 Congratulations Minneapolis Ward 7. You are an official Wedge LIVE Battleground.
The fate of the city rests on you. You will decide control of the City Council. Attend your DFL CAUCUS TONIGHT and become a delegate.

Knocked 306 doors today to #CaucusForAConnectedCity
It was my first time door knocking and I was very nervous, but everyone was super nice!
