Fair point. I think everyone's school/institution will be different. If folks feel that displaying this would create targets or out folks then definitely don't use it. I've also seen folks fill it in with cities, states, counties, etc. instead of specific schools .

Trump calling his efforts “manifest destiny” is no accident. It is meant to evoke memories of the violent removal of Indigenous peoples and Mexicans from their lands. His planned mass deportations are part of this plan.

Just finished Promises of Gold by José Olivarez, and wow—what a collection. His poetry hit hard, exploring love, grief, and generational trauma, while calling out systems like capitalism. It’s raw, real, and deeply relatable. Highly recommend the audiobook, especially with José reading it himself.
There is nothing wrong with trying to find a social media platform that connects you with people who share similar values to you. This is not a desire for an echo chamber. It is desire for a community.

I can tell you about getting sick because my mother was anti vaxx though.
Whooping cough at 12 that stuck around for 6 months and stopped me from doing things I loved.
Getting mumps and being really sick on vacation. Dad got it from us too, and was scarily sick.
None of that was necessary.
