It was pretty magical! I still had it installed on an old pre2 so I could compare it in the browser & the pre2. I did end up making some additions to it after getting it up and running. It took some troubleshooting, but I got it working so it can use the accelerometers and haptics on modern devices.
I built a Star Trek app for the Palm Pre in 2009. Palm died. The app died with it. Tonight I handed the source to an AI ( claude code ) and it brought the whole thing back. Converting everything from Mojo to React ... Every sound, every animation, every easter egg.
