I wish I was there! I got to visit ECCC a couple of years ago for my birthday; it was my first big con, and I had a wonderful time. (But alas, I live on the other side of the country, and I have to work. Maybe next time).

Also, looking it up I discovered there's a fifth book, although it's more of a side story. The Prince and the Pilgrim, published published in 1995, set in the same world but apparently not fully involved in the Arthurian main story. I haven't read that one. I need to read them all again.

I've seen several mention here Mary Stewart's books either as a trilogy but occasionally four books. That fourth book, The Wicked Day, stays in my mind. I would never have thought that a writer could make Mordred a sympathetic character, someone that I would feel for. That book broke me.

We saw the men's short earlier in the week, and I stayed up late the other night to watch the women's free skate. It was such a treat. I'm watching the women's short now and I just feel close to my mom and grandma who would love to watch the figure skating. I want to catch the gala too. 2/

Growing up we didn't watch sports much until the Olympics came around, then wed watch it all. Of course gymnasyin the Summer and figure skating in the winter we're favorites. I had family in town last weekend, so missed a lot after the opening ceremony, so catching up on skating now. 1/ #Olympics
