Well, it doesn’t only have to be faulty risk assessment. If I imagine Putin has Kompromat against Trump et al., it all makes sense. Distraction from Ukraine, depletion of western weapons, Russian oil and gas gains a lot of value. Putin threw Iran under the bus and is laughing up his sleeve.

Wäre für mich auch wichtiger. Diese Aussicht zeigt sich aber mMn nicht. Ein Duzend aus der Führungsriege wegzubomben reicht ja nicht einen solch etablierten Machtapparat zu überwinden. Ich bin froh, falls ich falsch liege.
Die macht die zweite Riege auch auf, die schon in den Startlöchern sitzt. Von den Revolutionsgarden ganz zu schweigen, die jetzt noch mächtiger werden. Auch wenn ich es mir wünschen würde, ich glaube noch nicht an einen Regimewechsel.
