I left the United States for that very reason (aka trump), to return to the UK after 20 yrs in New York.
And now it looks like I’m going to have to find another country in 3-4 yrs time.

@matthew-wright.bsky.social Why don’t we just realise prison is just for punishment. All people want is a pound of flesh. I think we should actually try to rehabilitate these individuals not shaming.
You need to revolt like the French first. And reset the way wealth is distributed. After all, it is the 99% who make it for the 1% who keep it. Otherwise, the powers that be will continue to rape and pillage the country on a scale Ragnar Lothbrok could only ever dream about.
And why the people who peddled all this bullshit need to be held to account. It’s one thing people being dense and voting for it, but all those who openly lied to con those people into believing it need to be punished.
