THREE guys this time just to, again, put eyes on the water heater and confirm the details they need to replace it. “Hopefully early next week, we’re trying to push it.” Jfc.

Yeah a lot of this is due to overly-bureaucratic tiered management structures and approval processes… as much so as the current management company just being shitty and cheap AF. Wasn’t this bad before they took over!

Yeah they were going to replace it the second visit, but the new unit was too tall and the maintenance staff wasn’t allowed to cut/refit the copper pipes. So they “fixed” it by turning the temp up to 130°F. 😑

I know nobody cares at this point, but having 5 minute hot showers through the coldest months of the year… paired with the constant short-notice intrusions… and keeping the closet emptied to retain “access”… has been DISMAL for my mental health and ability to work. 😖

For those keeping score at home, this will be the… 🤔 5th? 6th? maintenance visit regarding the water heater, which has been failing since the beginning of January (not counting 2 scheduled but delayed/cancelled visits, and the one ghosting).

Once more…! Maintenance just called to confirm(!) the contractor(!!) is arriving in 30-60min, and where things go from there is anyone’s guess. 🤞
