Sanjeev Bhaskar as a relevant character in Goodness Gracious Me
"Scotch eggs, Indian. Fairness, Indian"
Surely "and", not "or"?
I took a date to see Todd Solondz's Happiness. Somehow we ended up engaged. Not the same night, obvs.
Even when I was mock-pitching stuff at my BBC induction 23 years ago, all they seemed interested in was which D-lister would front it. Now _everything is "Celeb Name: Does Something"
Someone basically pitched James May's Toy Stories, but with Ian Hislop presenting. An idea slightly before its time.
I literally call my twice-daily local walks "dog walks", despite not having a dog.
Brendan certainly doesn't.
Sometimes I think I've developed a bit of a pedal addiction, and then I find myself on holiday, idly watching a video with U2's guitar tech, and think maybe there's another Evans out there with a bigger pedal problem...
Sometimes I genuinely regret having resigned as a Labour member, but only because shit like this makes me wish I had the opportunity to do it again.
From an ex-member: 👍
"Congratulations"
Guys, you really shouldn't have.
A mystery box!
Keep smashing those looms, gramps.
I recently had *someone else* run what I'd written through AI to add a final polish. I then had to re-read the whole lot to check and fix what it had changed. What a waste of time and effort.
The 80k is a poor choice of stat, but if the average value has gone up, and many (half?) will be worth more than that, the number exceeding the IHT threshold will also have risen.
Mind you, I think we have similar views on inheritance.
I guess the point is that if the residual balance is taxable on death, the relative value of the annuity increases because it becomes more "use it or lose it"whether it's converted into an annuity or not...

Pleased to see friends & family stepping in where the producers have failed to on #loveislandallstars - not sure Belle has fully realised yet just how rancid her behaviour has been, but she might be getting there.
My favourite Trotsky story
13 and 16 were the other two Sections I thought were pretty good. Harefield to Moor Park (doubled up with 12 from Uxbridge), and Elstree to Cockfosters.
Golf living up to its reputation yet again as a nice walk ruined.
Well it's coming, isn't it. The song isn't called "The Rain Has Arrived".
That was a great section. My notes said "Genuine unexpected highlight. Very hilly, but the best woodland section by some margin. S tier."
"Too much even for Viz". I'd not turn that down as an epitaph.
That said, don't overestimate the value of having ridden a bike, GP or not. I raced bikes for years, but as you're immersed in their world you'll be far more attuned to the machinations and nuances of what goes on in the niche world of MotoGP than I ever would, let alone a hallucinating chatbot.
Recently I've seen a trend of those who've bigged up the AI revolution walking back their expectations. All AI can do is draw a rational conclusion based on what it's seen before. Thank god humans are mostly irrational. It keeps the rest of us a job. For now.
Today I am annoying the wife by learning to play my favourite German pop song. Stacking some overdrive for this one... #amonduul #krautrocksampler
These days, you say you're a mill-owner, you get thrown in jail. These days...
