Democrats who boycotted the Sotu ought to have been engaged in high-vis hands-on events that day that focused on issues of child endangerment (ICE and pedophiles)hunger, housing, the environment, and health care. THOSE stories should have dominated the news for 48 hours.

When Noem says they’ve been making sure the right people vote in the midterms so that the right people get elected, that is flat out voter suppression.
Voting is overseen by the Secretary of State in each state. The Federal administration has no role in making up rules. Congress has a role in passing laws to ensure that every state’s voting practices are conducted in accordance with the Constitution.
Keep your eye on voting interference efforts underway to rig next years elections: stealing Georgias 2020 ballots, presidential missives declaring that there will be no mail in ballots or that licenses and birth certificates will be required, plans to use ICE to intimidate voters at the polls.
We’re not just sick of this administration and its petulant Whiteness, it’s greed and malevolence. We are sick of that side of America, that side of ourselves. We are trying to pull ourselves out of the muck that has infested our own lives. We are marching for meaningful change in ourselves.
