I think for me it’s this and then a bunch of Christmas movies. Christmas Vacation, Rudolph, Frosty, Muppet Christmas Carol, Mickey’s Christmas Carol.

Several more that are automatic watches whenever I happen across them. But I don’t schedule them.

Maureen O’Hara treasured this film so much that she asked that the soundtrack be played while she was on her deathbed.

I watch at least once per year, sometimes more when I need a boost.

Censors made Republic Studios remove several overt references to independent Ireland leading to a couple awkward cuts in the film.

Used to drink a shot at Stub and Herb’s we called the “Richter Special” that was 1/3 Everclear, 1/3 Goldschlager, and 1/3 Rumpelminz.

My nephew is named Sean in part thanks to this movie and all the times we watched it as kids.
