National Autistic Society Scotland 23h • 0 autistic people. However, we are not seeing the same progress for those who are trapped in hospital. Shockingly, there are 195 people with learning disabilities and autistic people living in hospitals, more than last year, and a fifth of them have been in hospital for more than 10 years. This is not acceptable. Autism is not a mental health disorder and hospitals are not homes. We want autism to be removed from mental health legislation and increased investment in local support services and appropriate safeguards in place, so autistic people can live in the community, a fundamental human right that many of us take for granted. FYI for anyone else who finds typing in the Relay UK app annoying -- at least on Android you can connect a keyboard to your phone and it works much better. Still not perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but...

I'd be cautious, last time I checked they didn't support IMAP so getting emails out could be difficult.

Failed attempt to try and ride the new ie tram bus on route 358 between Crystal Palace and Orpington (pictured at Crystal Palace). The driver practiced parking under the charger but it's clearly a diesel bus 😂

Urgh, people. Thanks to you and @holly-cummins.bsky.social for highlighting this problem which I (shamefully!) didn't realise existed.
There are also risks of burning through funding by deploying to the cloud and autoscaling... I suspect they chose to prefer poor performance over poor OpEx 🙂

Turn on the little feature that reminds you to post alt text with your images. Alt text allows blind and partially sighted people to understand what's in your images using screen readers. Without alt text, it just says "image".
Ah fair – I wasn't sure if there would be IP-based limits for unauthenticated reads :-)
Presumably these are only "write" actions, and the limit for "read" actions is higher?
