March rain < October-February rain
March rain < October-February rain
Cool & cloudy, with moderate rain every other day or so.
It must be March β¦ or November, December, January, February, or April β¦ in the Northwest! π€£
23 years ago, it was thunder-snowing!
Haha those are pretty amazing
Indeed!
Underrated
26 years ago today, in what feels like a forgotten windstorm, Seattle gusted to 60 mph.
There was no school for thousands of kids the next day β Seattleβs latest (in the school year) wind-related school closure in memory.
What a fabulous start to March!
Made it up to 62 today with plenty of afternoon sun . βοΈ
Thanks manβand likewise!

For the first time in months, itβs 60 degrees in Seattle! π

Heavy rain and wind picking up here on the Seattle waterfront #wawx
Dark and stormy night ahead!
Prepare for heavy rain and gusty windsβnear 50 mph in the Seattle area.
At this time of year, thatβs usually not enough to cause widespread power outages as trees are bare/weaker branches have already fallen. Weβll see.
Weβre neighbors!
Amen!!!
A wee bit windy today
Some crazy stats as we await the arrival of βοΈsnow tonight:
πΉFebruary is running TEN degrees below normal
πΉ32 of the last 33 days have been colder than normal.
πΉSeattle has recorded 26 freezes since New Yearβs
βοΈMORE SNOW AHEADβοΈ
Fresh off back-to-back record low temps in Seattle (20Β° today, 23Β° yesterday), snowy weather will add to this weekβs wintry feel.
Plan on light snow from Seattle south tomorrow afternoon, moving north during the evening. Accumulations of 1-2β possible. ππ
