This is literally the most basic and simple take. It is insane that sports media or announcers went with anything else.
Why is anyone putting bad vibes on Bam Adebayo's amazing night?
Kobe was a very flawed individual. Even if he wasn't, the basketball world should not be encased in amber because of the tragic circumstances of his death.
Good for Bam! New records are cool.
Who could possibly have foreseen that war on Iran would (a) make Iran retaliate by closing the strait of Hormuz, which (b) could disrupt world oil markets, enriching Russia and penalizing most everyone else?
Who, indeed, except EVERYONE WHO HAS EVER THOUGHT FOR ONE MINUTE about the situation.
What I will say is I have actually seen and held Ruth bats at the Yankees museum. He used to notch his homers and I am pretty sure my segment - which wasn't advertised that way - has the characteristic notch. That really hyped me up. I should share a picture at some point.
I mean ... this is why I treasure the stuff I get in person. You never know really right? Especially with old stuff.
Mine is authenticated by the Ruth estate and Steiner so it's about as legit as you can get.
I knew the good news simply could not continue for the Raiders.
Let me have this Bob. I needed this one.
But how could we ever afford cutting taxes on the first 75k people
make?!?!?!
Another dream of mine is to one day help Aaron Judge write his autobiography.
There is an incredible story there.
I manifest this regularly.
I was in the nosebleeds when Pedro lost the 2009 World Series.
Pretty amazing! A top
highlight for me was being at Dave Wells' perfect game. I met him once and when i told him I was there he inscribed my ball with the date. Pretty cool.
Yes, youre right. There are no problems with Barry Bonds, Mark McGwire, or Sammy Sosa. No one questions it. Everyone agrees with you on this.
I tend not to bother celebrities randomly. But if I really have something to say or a connection to their work, I feel no shame.
I saw Kareem Abdul Jabbar late one night at Laguardia. I decided not to bother him. A part of me has always wished I'd asked for a picture.
They have been doing amazing stuff with photo matching these days. Maybe try reaching out to the Hall!
M.A.N.T.I.S.!!!
Oh come on.
I was just saying!
Pretty amazing!! I wonder if Cooperstown would exhibit that?
I would like to buy this for $100
Whoah. How?!?!
So please, if you can, Iβd love to have this thread list pro-Trans everything. Creators, craftspeople, writers, artists, activistsβ¦if you or someone you know deserves some celebrating, bring it the fuck on, okay?
Post links if you can.
Buy stuff if you can.
They hate when people stand up.
I was at his last appearance at Yankees Stadium. The final game in 2008. It was really special. Also saw him ip close at some of the parades.
FUCK FACE
Amazing! I have his quote on my arm.
Not sure what I will do about Mantle since his autos are so expensive. There's also a ton of forgeries. I'll pounce on some auction some day. I also need Mattingly and Judge.
I got a Babe Ruth bat fragment. I also got a signed HOF plaque card for Dimaggio. I got those watching auctions. Scored both for $150 each, which really felt like a steal. The Ruth bat came from his estate and is mounted for framing. It's crazy since much smaller pieces in cards go for $$$$$$
I mean it's literally priceless.
I also got selfies with Patrick Ewing and Mike Tyson at events I covered. They are my other favorite childhood athletes and are included in the exemption. Mike is from Brooklyn and I boxed in high school.
