Sad, but good for Marc for doing this.

So far Mercury Retrograde has worked in my favor: long-delayed LTC payments came, Jβs out of network dental claim finally processed, remaining subscription cancel $ refunded, company who was reimbursing me $25/mo for amt I had paid to a solar program decided to give me the remaining $$$$ balance.
Bon voyage!
FYI the Amazon commerce site is having issues. I did manage to grab those (thanks!) but it kind of thought about letting me for a bit. Can't check out in the usual cart currently.
A graph of outage reports over time for Amazon's commerce site, showing a large spike at in the most recent timeframe.
Yeah - just searched that. Assuming it's just the commerce site, as I'm not hearing any AWS screaming,
Interesting - I added a gift card, then went to my Amazon cart and attempted to check out, but it's going to the "something went wrong" page.
Oh, right - I forgot we are in the middle of a Mercury Retrograde...
This is weird: went to look at an Amazon listing I saved for later. Although in the list it shows it has over 1K reviews when I go to the actual listing I cannot see the reviews! Plus most searches give me a grid of options but now no prices on them. Did they just "improve" something?
FWIW I just discovered a "turbo spin scrubber" (just search on Amazon) works well with dish soap for cleaning cat yuck off of rugs without endless bent-over hand scrubbing.
strongly suggest!
okay - I was wondering in what way the lids were a feature vs open buckets.
Why drainage holes - is something in the lid open enough to let in the mosquitoes so rain also gets in?
Check any plants for being poisonous (like daffodils and other lilies) and stash any chocolate and grapes/raisins.
The trick with alpine strawberries is their seeds need to have a cold moist period (stratification) to mimic winter in order to germinate. You could put them in your fridge for 30 days, but definitely trickier than getting seedlings.
The handles on the ramp to pick it up are brilliant!
Does it just have no possibility of a stable key signature? Those constant accidentals are really annoying to read.
I came across it while visiting Reading in 2019 on a pilgrimage to @themerl.bsky.social after they went viral with their "absolute unit" tweet.medium.com/@adamkoszary...
Have you ever seen the hand-reproduced copy in the Reading Museum? The Victorian ladies carefully excised any naughty bits:

A very tall skinny yew type tree with multicolored lights next to a porch railing covered in a strand of white lights. The tree is leaningto the right slightly over the railing. Closer to the top of the railing is some clothesline rope which is secured around the tree to hold it up.
Got to remember to trim the height on this yew in the spring. It was bent over almost to the ground under the weight of snow and ice. Knocked off what I could and tied it more upright with some rope.
Apparently the CVS overlords forced their minions to work today - I just got a text that my Rx is now ready to pick up...
A gray couch with two blue pillows, two gray pillows, and a round fuzzy βpillowβ that is a sleeping cat.
One of these things is not like the others.
A gray tabby is balanced precariously on a wood eagle statue. Red straps around the eagleβs neck holds a white bag containing cat wand toys.
Riley frequently balances on top of this chainsaw carved eagle when I object to him trying to grab cables on the table next to it.
I will think fondly of your garden during tomorrowβs forecast blizzard! At least itβs good for my winter sowing seed jugs :-)
I just shared it on the SOH Discord :-)
A calico cat loaf sitting on a blue mat with the sun hitting her face.
In good news, Miss Zoe's calcium levels are now normal after 4 wks of Fosamax so we will continue. Fortunately she is the most compliant of the 4 cats and the fast-administer-flush-wait 30 min to feed only happens once a week. She also seems to be gaining weight, which was the precipitating symptom.
Yes - the new agency I just got says Medicare will pay what BCBS doesnβt. The prob w 1st agency is they *only* bill Medicare, not any other insurance, so Medicare refused for no BCBS submission.
A desaturated/black & white photo of a small longhaired cat curled up asleep on a blanket on a couch.
No reason - just time for a cat.
The hospice agency which was very interested in taking on my wife (and has been doing a good job since Sept) has now figured out they canβt bill Medicare bc her primary Pt A is my BCBS. They admit their mistake so wonβt bill me - but I will have a deductible & copay w BCBS + prob another eval :-(
A lengthy pile of discolored older snowbank. There are multiple shovel-sized slits penetrating to create more exposed surfaces.
Taking advantage of physics with warmer weather the next few days: repeatedly stuck a shovel into all the snowbanks to increase the surface area exposed to warmer air to speed up melting.
I just stopped and blocked his comms texting me about him coming to NH.
Duh! I just rechecked and it wasn't by her! Amazon faked me out with a "similar" link.
