Fragmented, yet flawless

Berserk Ouroboros

A drawing meant to emulate an overwhelming Ispy page and a medieval manuscript. There is a blue frame, and it is surrounded with white flowers, a star, a unicorn fish, pointing to an opened book, and a moon. In the drawing there is a curious cat guiltily staring at the scribe while drinking milk from a bowl with a tea strainer, containing cat nip. An open diary with a page from a manuscript glued on it, with the a scribe doodling himself kissing the person the manuscript page is talking about. The scribes table is littered with small books, a candlewell, a measuring scale, oranges and a mirror. A pawprint is seen on the scribes WIP.

Within the frame there are two figures wearing traje de mestiza, the one wearing white has a veiled birdcage for a head, and a pair of scissors in one hand. The second figure has a bleeding heart pigeon forlornly perched on a birdseed for a head. The camiso is open, revealing a chest with top surgery scars.

Highlights of 2024. I did not get the chance to draw plenty for myself this year. Here’s to hoping for a softer, kinder new year.
