I’m sorry to hear that, though I’m not surprised At this point 🥀
Not to mention that a lot of my teachers grade just by AI check and AI autograding tools, which detect essays I spent hours on to be AI and or really low grade level bc my grammar isn’t AI perfect and my strengths in writing are more on the content itself and the structure of the essay
I’m glad it payed off for you.
The only A students I’ve met barely do anything and use AI for everything. Despite my distaste of AI usage in education, its so very tempting. At this point half my teachers make assignments entirely through AI and don’t teach anything
I have too, but the only way I managed to keep up with it is by doing 8 hours of homework a day outside of school to get Bs. Now I’ve gotten too burnt out to be doing that much work. The school has gotten more and more cheating with ai and other methods, especially with so much work.
I’m in a regular class, not an Honors or AP, and I have 5 other classes. I don’t understand how other people keep up with this horseshit.
-filling out questions that are basically just regurgitating the textbook without analysis. Then writing an essay and making a big detailed poster about it (Notably one of the better projects). That’s on top of inbetween assignments and practically 3 essays on the textbook.
For example, for history right now I have two projects. One thats naming almost every country, major city, body of water, geographical feature, etc on several maps in detail and color coding and formatting it all meticulously. The other is filling out questions thats basically-
I can’t stand this education system. It‘s entirely busywork with short deadlines. This stupid place claims to be all for learning, but learning takes time and room for mistakes. They give barely any time, and mistakes are a sledgehammer to your grade.
bc some solutions are better than others. (I am talking mostly metal medieval armor in european nations. I don’t know much about armor outside of that, so this may not apply to stuff outside if that context. If you’re interested then I do recc reading about it bc im not doing the topic justice)
- more more joints so you could actually move. It’s all about figuring how out how to make it as mobile as possible while allowing for as little gaps as possible. That’s why not all armor looks the same, there are many solutions to one problem, but you will see similarities-
TVDHDFNDHEBFB thank you! Tbh I don’t fully understand a lot about armor either. The way I’ve been thinking about it is like a bunch of joints. The human body is pretty flexible and hence can do a ton of motion. Armor tries to negate the fact that you are shoving someone into a tin can by adding-
I’m not gonna even consider counting mine, I’ve animated my sona too many times lol
I’m sure you had a valid reason for it
Oh yikes my drawings are kinda stiff now that I'm looking at it...uhm uh uhm...welp I did my best lol

it may be caused by you relying a lot on the loomis method or some variation of it. The proportions established by it are helpful, though it may lead one to fall into the trap of making all faces have the same proportions. Try experimenting with proportions some more.
have a stiffer look to them because the shoulders and hips are tilted the same way. Having them turn in different directions (contrapposto) and twisting the body can be ways to exaggerate a pose, but there are plenty of other ways to do so. Lastly, the faces look very similar. I have a guess that-
sorts of mannerisms your character tends to have can be really helpful in communicating what sort of character they are. (2) Different shape language can communicate different things about a character. Additionally, exaggerating the big medium small can help with appeal. (1) the original poses-
more about them. To help in specifics, I would need to know your intentions for each of the designs, so I will attempt to show what I mean with a very general demo. (1) Look at how with exaggerating the same pose in different ways you get different vibes from the figure? Developing the general-
Ooooo fun outfitss. For feedback, the main thing I notice is that I cannot tell much at all about who these characters are past being very yeehaw and Will being in a less cowboy outfit as you mentioned. I think adjusting the shapes and posing for these characters can definitely help communicate-
Aaa thank you!…I shy away from properly drawing detail a lot bc I just end up with seven billion tangents on top the ones I already have lol
YIPPEE I’m glad I could help. Ik it‘s really hard to get feedback on ones work, led alone anything specific. Btw,if you ever feel like it, I’m open to critique on most of the stuff I post. Yapping about art stuff in general is super fun
Did some studies. Armor is so cool; any time I study it I find seven million more things I didn’t notice before in its design that allow it to be functional. It’s also so very cool to see how patterns and symbols are incorporated even with those limitations.
I cannot get over the creatures in the background theyre so goofy
I see I seeeee. Shall keep an eye and a half out for that >:]
These are just doodles so I don’t really have any idea. If u wanna yoink them and come up with lore feel free to do so :D
