I'm forced to the conclusion that a certain type of pro-Israeli Western Christian doesn't actually see the place as real, and certainly doesn't see the Christians of the Middle East whose lives have been made much, much harder by the policies they back.

The misinformation and outright lying in politics comes at least as much from certain politicians outside government, sections of the media and a wide range of social media users. Restricting this law to ministers would give the impression that they are less honest than others, which is untrue.
