It seems like an amazing combo of shape language, with objects defined by contrast rather than just lines. It's like looking at a beautiful map; you can instantly see where everything is and understand what it's meant to be. Looks simple, but incredibly tricky to make.

Ohh I see it! The color matching the ribbon, and the shapes are sort of like the flowing hair; all together, it has that kind of feeling. Haha, it wasn't intentional, but it's a fun connection. Thanks for pointing it out!

Here's another quick one; this is a first pass on an interactive item. It's essentially like finding a treasure chest that you can activate to open a portal and collect loot.
This is a flat render, it will have layered effects and more detail in the app!

This elemental djinn was themed on truly objectified characters - this one a vase, in the style of cutlery from Beauty and the Beast. Can you guess what it does?

For balance, consider the archetypal yin-and-yang. The light text would go better on the dark space, balancing detail complexity and light intensity.
Give yourself some credit for what is possible on the image as well! Plan ahead though; is this a clandestine romance, hidden and suggestive?

maybe emphasize your name more boldly. Other elements in the title/subtitle may also be candidates for more focal attention. Limiting fonts is good, but ~3 sizes are okay. Try taking inspiration/ reference from similar titles you feel resonated with a common audience. Best of luck!

Cool concept. Composition can be polished. Text position not balanced; make sure to keep proportional vert/horiz margins, and note rule of 3rds applies to focal text. Same for image; light/dark areas not balanced, negative space not utilized, and consider implying body shapes in scale contour.

I agree, but it's a good time to consider who does make nice originals and their meaning as a gift.
It's not too hard to order a blank puzzle + print, so if you know some other people who enjoy that pastime, it's a cool and affordable present idea to gift/exchange puzzle prints. Cheers!

Line art for new enemy defeat animation!
(full knockback and effects happen with in-engine physics). I feel it's unique and I'm really happy with how it's coming out.
She has unorthodox proportions and multiple left/right feet, but it's alright; she moves in mysterious ways.

Love it, need to follow more closely, been so busy. Personally, I'd love to see her start as the right, and maybe as things turn darker over the course of the story, she shifts to the left later on? I think that'd be a powerful progression. If absolutely just one, then, left, but great job on both.

Nice! one other consideration. Is this her final form? If an avatar, I don't know her personality, but the younger/right model might be an aspect of her social presentation, contrasting more strongly against hideous inner self. Otherwise, left model better as figure of power/antagonist. Great work!

See in what context? Left is more threatening, right is more conversational. From a standpoint of tension, both have the hand joints contracted, not poised, so it would be a sense of great unease rather than immediate threat. The left is less prone and more occluded in shadow, so enhances that.

New basic enemy!
These soldiers were conscripted involuntarily to fight against the city by the opposing forces.
Defeating them will lead to a more sexual pose/animation as tradition, but it will likely be one of celebratory freedom.

Quick update post. Put together a first pass gameplay presentation this weekend. Not refined enough for public consumption, but all the pieces are now in play.

This was a time consuming animation to freehand, especially with the pivot. I'm trying to practice nuanced subtleties that aren't generally available with rigged 2D characters. I feel like my abilities are improving, and look forward to more challenges. Hope it comes across well!

Dryad Attack Animation!
This will be the planned animation for the default/Tutorial character on your team, a Dryad (leaf accessories not shown here).
Her attack itself is something like a summon spell, and she will call forth a wave of vines that fill the screen. Some get frisky!

I find that it can be a huge help creatively try something really different, (Depression notwithstanding), especially if it's in the presence of a small social group.
e.g.: rest digital art by customizing and painting some miniatures to look like a couple of your chars at a hobby store meetup

I was originally thinking that the sprite would shoot once and then fade to ash, but now, I think it'd be more fun to be able to reflect its attack or hit it directly, and maybe see/activate something fun and sexy.
