What studying different media can teach you as a writer:
- Books: Interiority, voice, pacing, language.
- Film/Theater: Blocking, gesture, subtext, visual tension.
- TV: Arcs and episodic structure.
- Video Games: Immersion, agency, pacing, and environmental storytelling.
Don't forget to use the community tab! Jams are traditionally done in teams (in regards to games) and I think that sentiment should extend to all mediums: novels, comics, etc.
It's a great place to help someone out with their project or to offer up your project!

I think a lot of us millennials & older really take it for granted that we were the last of only a couple generations where there was an all-encompassing campaign to encourage literacy. Everyone used to agree upon it. There were commercials with your favorite celebrities just being like, "READ!"
