Adar 3: Tokyo Drift
Everyone shut up. Passover is in three weeks. We don't have time for this nonsense.
My first thought was "1.21 Jigawatts!"

I'm a Pathfinder GM, and I had my first real TPK a few months ago. There was genuine grief going on. Even though the characters managed to get brought back, I really felt like I traumatized some of my players that day
I suppose it was a little unfair of me to have Jesus be the one to act attacked
The joke is that it wasn't an attempt to test Jesus, but the Gospel narrators frame it as though it was.
To shut down rude behavior instantly, try a simple yet powerful one-cubit measuring stick ๐
Also I enjoy the title of the article, because in context it sounds like coaching advice to new currency exchangers.
"In order to exchange a dinar for perutot, you have to visualize yourself AS the perutot. Don't just give them their change. BE the change."

Next you'll be telling me that the Dominican Republic isn't just Island Mexico

No thanks, I don't need any more
I don't think that's true.
Yes, I was afraid you had reached the limit of your ability to glean any further meaning.
What am I, a proctologist?
I am someone who loves nitpicky arguments, but this isn't one.
If you still have arguments to make, you may direct them to my builder's cubit ๐
I have articulated my position no fewer than four times. It's not that it's difficult to articulate, it's that you either cannot, or do not want to, understand it.
Anyway if words aren't your strong suit, someone helpfully made my argument for me in picture form.
Oh wow, hey, great example of the exact thing I am talking about
That is, I think he's referring to those sorts of people, and the odds that there will be more of them in the future if this war has material effects on Americans.
I think that's what Joel means, because he's a mutual and I read his writing.
Wait wait wait, do you think I'm reading interpretations into things? Is that why nothing you've said has made sense so far?
That's not what's going on, buddy. People are *already* being very explicit about their belief in Israel as the sole driving force behind this war.
We're not talking about the word "started." The word "started" is a reference, and the referent is the fact that people talk about this attack on Iran as if Israel pushed the US into it.
Frankly I think I'm extending a lot of conversational charity by spelling this out for the third time or so
They both started the war together. I don't even understand what your problem is here.
I don't know what you're talking about here.
I mean if Israelis said the same of the United States, as if they had nothing to do with it, then it would be equally objectionable.
It's not a reflexive translation, it's just the context that should be obvious. Is it possible that you are unaware that there are people who are very much claiming that this war is being fought entirely on Israel's behalf, and that Trump is supporting it only because Bibi wants him to?
Again, why are you believing them? Just because Israeli hawks have wanted war for a long time doesn't mean US hawks haven't wanted it too. Trump has been pushing for a war with Iran since before Bibi ever ran for office.
