Today has been a necessary reset for my mental health and I have an overwhelming feeling of love for the @craftybeergirls.bsky.social that make this possible.

Happy I managed to get 3 international women’s day beers in King’s Arms before the @craftybeergirls.bsky.social meet today. Nice to also have pre-drinks with @kirsteensy.bsky.social as well. Typically though Peri has woken up only cos there is a Barley Wine on the table 🤣

You can stay in the cube houses I think as well but they aren’t cheap.

Booze n Blues is one of the best, even with different owner. The vibe is still great whether you go at 4pm or midnight!

If you ever wondered what bear beer vomit looks like! It’s a delicious Vault City Beer with raspberry, blackberry, pomegranate, chocolates, coffee and maple syrup 🍻🤣💗

Liquid Dreams beer fest at The Mall Tavern is always amazing; but with Fou’Foune and Stille Nacht on keg on the same bar this time(!!), it’s as good as beer life gets for me 🍻💗

Cask Pub and Kitchen even had a coconut rum so we could have our mums favourite drink of “Malibu” and lemonade for my sister (I drank it neat) 🤪

With Hop Locker being closed for the BAFTAs, we headed to @apintofhops.bsky.social to get the three Hommelbier beers on keg - a great decision 🍻💗

Stop 4 is Waterloo Tap, probably my favourite of the taps and best range so far today. Music is also bloody awesome.

Stop 3 is Hole in the Wall, now a London Beer Factory pub. Again a good selection of cask and keg. Unfortunately beers served in the cheap plastic glasses and bouncers on the door due to showing the rugby.

Stop 2 is King’s Arms, Roupell Street. A good selection of cask beers here and it’s already busy at 12 noon 🤣

Weren’t advertised on the menu. Expensive because where a pint was £8 a 1/3 was charged at £4 which I think is taking the piss!

Annoying they don’t sell halves though and a 1/3 works out so expensive compared to a pint.

Starting the day early and well today at the Corner Bar, Tate Modern (went for a bottle as it isn’t too bad value compared to the draft offering!).

Got home and watched an episode of Smack the Pony and it’s reminded me that it was one of the best sketch shows ever written. Don’t think it will ever be surpassed!

So we are now getting up early tomorrow to go to the cinema for the 40th anniversary of David Bowie’s The Labrynth. It will be worth it as it’s an amazing movie!

Well the rugby was depressing but Marius @apintofhops.bsky.social cheered me up by serving me the great beer he always does and muchly by playing songs from Queen II - one of the best albums ever produced!

Just had lovely “Valentines Day” meal in Mall Tavern, Notting Hill - early bird booking meant a free bottle of Cremant after my 1/2 of Steady Rolling Man on cask💗.
Afterwards we decided to give The Bush Tavern a 2nd chance - don’t think we’ll be bothering with again as it’s the embodiment of beige.
