Have you seen EA’s margin? It’s about 15%. That hardly seems outrageous.

I’ll provide some defense…most devs don’t add microtransactions for the heck of it…typically it’s a necessary part of the business to keep the game operating.

I think mission statements are more for the team than anything else; I think devs want to feel that they’re trying to make games that appeal to everyone as opposed to a niche (which might turn off some of the team). For disclosure I’m in the industry.

At the end of the day, the GOP has majorities and control of every branch of government. This might not reflect actual vote totals but it’s a reality.
