When you do go for a replacement I recommend BLU phones. They're very affordable, and don't come locked to a carrier, and are not full of apps that can't be uninstalled like carrier supplied phones.
I started with iPhone, then switched to Android for better control... I now have an iPhone for work purposes; and I hate it even more... I am considering on switching to a Linux phone, still keeping my android tablets.

First attempted post here failed because it was too long. It happened to be a quote; which I could not feel okay about editing or omitting credit for the sake of making it short enough to fit in the three hundred character limit. This is actually why I never did much with twitter. Not a good start.
