The news is depressing enough already without having to read braindead cis people's reactions of pure surprise that such a thing could even happen. like "surely our beautiful diverse country wouldn't just deliberately oppress and kill people for being different" do you hear yourselves

begging people to STOP sounding fucking surprised to learn that conservatives hate us and want us dead. the new prison conversion therapy thing drives me fucking nuts too, so many takes along the lines of "how can they not realize this is just going to cause more trans suicides" like yeah they know

once again feeling crazy for this. if I have to read one more scandalized person talk about what's happening in Kansas like "they're not even letting trans people exist peacefully! its almost like this new law is just meant to criminalize them for existing!" I am going to mcfreaking LOSE IT
