We're <6 months out from #DragonCon2026 & I'm finally getting hyped! I'll be back as an attending pro again this year & as always I'm looking forward to the panels, the parties, & probably continuing my personal trend of some laid-back costumes...what #DragonCon thing(s) are you most hyped about?
…the grandmother who told me she wouldn’t buy me things but would take me places passed away in December. I am so proud to be able to at least sort of carry on that torch 🥰
& while I’m not “taking” my niblings to WDW, my sisters have many kids & I do not…so I offered to buy the kiddos some lightning lane passes for 1 of the new coasters that’s sure to have a long wait. I wanted them to have that experience, esp as I can’t rn (due to a recent ish retinal detachment)
when I was little, my paternal grandmother told me “I won’t buy you THINGS, I will take you places” - and she did that for me throughout my childhood and adolescence. this month I’m going to Disney world with my family (contd)
