Increasing the defense budget by reducing Foreign Aid is massively regressive. Reducing Foreign Aid will hit the world's poorest increasing global instability, in turn increasing refugees and driving people towards extremist regimes.

Today is the 500th anniversary of the first Anabaptist baptisms in Zurich. As I watch the news from around the world (particularly the USA this week) I am glad of the challenge of this tradition to disavow the church's collusion with wealth and violence.
