Literally one of my favorite designs for him!!!! Earthspark is too over-hated!

Ballpoint might be legitimately one of my favorite transformers continuities.

It's like a more coherent and consistent g1 haha.

Jason Howard's starscream is by far my favorite design for the character. Such a simple take on g1 but it captures his essence so well.

Usually optimus has the most articulated models. Tried looking at gundams once but their joints don't adapt well to the blockiness of the g1 style.

So I have to look at tf toy sites for very specific figures that have the joints that can replicate the pose I'm looking for, and then try to adapt said joints to the character I'm drawing.

One of the hardest things I had to learn is that metal doesn't squish like human bodies do, so most pose references end up not working or making the character look very awkward.

After drawing g1 transformers for a year or so, I really started to appreciate how much clothes/flesh/fur make drawing easier.

Lazerbeak sits on top of Soundwave's head, Ravage is lazily hanging out of Soundwave's chest, Frenzy and Rumble pop out as well. "My boss thinks you're hot!" Rumble says to Shockwave "Dude, shut up, you're ruining this for him!" says Frenzy

I miss the dwj run. It had it's flaws but many of the tender moments are forever stuck in my heart.

I feel like kirkman removed a lot of the emotional aspect of the comic and it feels a bit boring now.

If it wasn't for Dan Mora's absolutely delicious artstyle I might have dropped skybound a while ago.

Last chapter panels are so beautiful, Sarah Stern's coloring was also so vivid and interesting.

Transformers new jack swing is an insane concept.
