π Bookmarked: John Gruber Loves the MacBook Neo
Gruber is reliably the most honest, no bullshit pundit in the Apple ecosystem.

Iβve had several people ask about the feed reader and integrated, IndieWeb composer built into my site. Here is a quick demo!
> [It is an] image issue for Sony, with the next Xbox console rumored to be running Windows, meaning future Xbox consoles could play PlayStation games if they were to release on PC. Unfortunately, the logic here is reasonable, though I think Sony is leaving money on the table. (4/4)
The best justification I have seen comes from Steam Deck HQ, who point out that the shakeup at Xbox may be to blame: (3/4)
These are some of my favorite games to play on my PC, especially the _Horizon_ and _Uncharted_ sequels. I understand the desire to push their own hardware, but I generally think that this is a poor decision. (2/4)
π Bookmarked: Sony is Dropping the PC Ports Sad to hear the news that Sony will stop releasing its titles on PC, in spite of the huge success of popular hits like _Horizon_ and _Spider-Man_.

A strong start to the season! πͺ Some great driving from our two today!
The opening battle between Charles and George was epic! #F1 #ForzaFerrari (2/2)
Great opening race. Happy with the pace of the Ferraris! Lewis looks like his old self. Not the best strategy, but I donβt think they had the pace to beat the Mercs anyway.

I canβt tell if Iβm happy because the picture on the new projector is so phenomenal or because Iβm watching Max Verstappen drive into a wall. Iβll say a bit of both π #F1

Since getting my AWOL Vision projector for my home theater a few years back, Iβve joined their βcommunity showroomβ program, and regularly host prospects. Just received the brand new Aetherion Max, and am excited to set it up!

Alright, locked in with three F1 fantasy teams in our family league. I tend to suck at remembering to make changes and updates over the course of the season, but we shall see if I remember this time around!

No worries! I was really worried about the great experience of F1TV tanking with a new owner, but theyβve smartly just left it alone. I already paid for Apple TV so itβs also saving me some money!
The standard F1 app works basically the same as before Apple. Sticking with the F1TV feeds as I prefer the commentators to the Sky ones.

What are you using to watch? Iβm using the same F1 app on my Apple TV that I have been using for years and the experience is identical for me so far.
π Bookmarked: Om Malik on the MacBook Neo
Om Malik opines on the MacBook Neo, Apple's new budget laptop. Is it a Trojan Horse for education, or something else entirely?

You donβt just need to build the dog, you also need to walk it, feed it, and give it the attention it deserves. https://cleverdevil.io/2026/excellent-post-from-ben-werdmuller-about (7/7)
Saying "no" to a project with a massive, hidden maintenance burden isn't a failure of imagination; it is how you protect your teamβs time so they can focus on the journalism, the community, or the core mission that actually makes your organization special. (6/7)
> In a world where AI and modern tooling make it dangerously easy to spin up new software, our ultimate constraint is no longer our ability to type code. Itβs our capacity to care for the things we bring into the world. (5/7)
Ben does point out that there is more to consider than the up-front investment of time and energy required to make an idea a sustainable and successful product. Thereβs a critical human factor: giving a shit about what you create. (4/7)
People are building smaller tools that would have taken many sprints in less than a day; founders are building entire startups that might have taken six months in less than one. (3/7)
Itβs a genuine sea change. The more founders and senior engineers I speak to who are actively using these tools, the more stories I hear about accelerated development. (2/7)
β€οΈ Liked: https://werd.io/can-we-build-the-dog/ Excellent post from Ben Werdmuller about the dramatic shift that has impacted the calculus for startups and founders. > Enter AI. Almost without warning, AI-enabled tools dramatically expanded what a resource-strapped team can create. (1/7)
One of my favorite features of my new site is invisible to visitors β an integrated feed reader with support for first-class IndieWeb interactions β likes, replies, bookmarks, and reposts. Still iterating on it, but itβs already lovely to use.
