Thank you!!
Thank you!!
If only high-risk people die from that illness, why should I care about it?
1. Because you should care about other people, whether or not they are high-risk. No person is disposable, so itβs important to take steps to protect the people around us. Even if you arenβt concerned about your health, taking steps to prevent illness also helps keep you from spreading illness to people who are even more vulnerable. And remember, you canβt always tell who is most vulnerable just by looking at them!
2. Because people of all ages and health histories can (and do) experience severe illness and die from common viruses. There is no virus that only affects people who are high-risk. Even if certain people are more likely to experience severe illness and death than others, even young and healthy people can and do die from illnesses like the flu, COVID-19, measles, RSV and more. All people should take viruses seriously, even if you are not considered high-risk.
3. Because dying isnβt the only risk. Even if data shows that most people do not die from a certain illness, many illnesses like COVID-19, measles, and more can cause significant long-term health consequences. These risks include permanent lung damage, memory loss, disability, and more. All people, with or without underlying health conditions, are at risk of these long-term conditions. Itβs not only about living or dying. Itβs also about protecting your quality of life and health you might not get back once itβs gone.
There is no virus that βonlyβ causes serious harm in people who are high-risk. And even if there were, it would still be important to protect yourself and others. Please take steps to prevent getting and spreading illness in order to protect your own health and the health of others.

Poverty? βWell, we all are going to die.β Kids without insulin? βWell, we all are going to die.β School shootings, poisoned water, hurricane devastation, a motherβs cancer, a familyβs hunger? βWell, we all are going to die.β

This moment is hard β I don't dispute that, but this isn't the time to be afraid.
Make your voice heard, whether itβs at a town hall or on the phone, so Donald Trump and Republicans know how sick and tired you are of them cutting your services.
My congressman also but not my βrepresentativeβ for sure. hope all the vets in this district hear this clip of Murphy lying about the VA
Traitor Trump will spend the entire night trying to spin his disastrous Oval Office ambush stunt into a political win.
Zelenskyy is a war hero.
Trump is an all-time zero.

The republicans in the North Carolina State Legislature do not want our state to be able to *sue the federal government* over laws and executive orders our state deems as unconstitutional. Republicans are against our Attorney General protecting the people of our state. β¬οΈ

Nature includes random and rare intersex outcomes - genes and chromosomes do not always obey biblical teachings or outdated knowledge. Nature is nature. It's not political, it has no agenda, no religion. We have mapped the human genome but some are far behind in accepting scientific realities.

Just watched The Girl In The River; a chilling reminder of how little power women and girls have in so much of the world. How tragic that so many American women casually throw their sistersβ, daughtersβ and mothersβ rights away, for religion or right wing politics or race or for whatever cause.
