Thank you, that means so much!! 🧡 The scene this is based on is my favorite sequence I've written for Sacha's story, so I always make sure that I put extra work into getting the vibe right when I make art for it!

Yeah honestly shopping for laptops is kind of a pain. 😭 I haven't had to buy one for a while but I vividly remember it being very annoying to research last time.

All of you with bear OCs had better watch out because I didn't get to draw nearly as many as I wanted to last year so they'll likely be a top priority for me this time around. (I've already bookmarked some so I'm just hoping that the owners don't archive them by the time AF starts. 😭)

I'd really like to give 2D animation another shot one of these days because I would love to fully bring this sequence to life. This scene in the story means a lot to me so it would be very nice to do it more justice than a still frame.

As far as brands go, I've heard a lot of good things about Lenovo. They tend to have decent prices and specs from what I've gathered, a lot of people I know have gotten them for work and they lasted a long time. I think I've heard good things about ASUS too, but I'm not quite as familiar with them.

I don't use a laptop most of the time personally so I'm not super well versed in this, but I think most modern laptops should work! I'd personally recommend one with mid-range specs if it's within your budget, but it may not be necessary since display tablets don't tend to take much power to use.

Yeah it's always really cool! I feel it helps personalize the art for me more if I associate it with something else like that since it gives additional context to my vision for the piece. Even when it's subconscious, it gives me an excuse to share my music taste with other people!

I started playing the demo around the time it came out but I decided a few minutes into it that I'd rather go in as blind as possible. I love going into games spoiler-free and being surprised by everything, even if it isn't a game that can necessarily be "spoiled" like Stories.

I've noticed that I tend to associate specific songs with my larger art pieces even if the vibes don't exactly match. Sometimes I'll theme an entire scene around a song that has overlap with the vibe/story of a piece, and other times I fixate on one line that highlights something present in the art.

I do have some characters who aren't directly tied to a story (Morris, Maverick, that Xenomorph I drew a while back, etc.) but it's very apparent by looking through my art that I very rarely draw any of them. It's just difficult for me to justify taking the time to draw them for some reason.

Honestly I have a tough time making OCs that aren't directly tied to some sort of narrative or world that I've made. I'd really like to design some dinosaur or fandom OCs, but it's hard for me to justify it because it's so hard for me to get attached to characters who don't really have lore.
