Most of the quilting programs are designed by people. While it can be programmed into the longarm, someone designed it. Maybe look at the entirety of the programming before calling it AI and dismissing it. You sound just like the dismissive women who thought machine piecing was cheating.
Probably not, they license with plenty of fabric companies right now.
Rotary cutter and a straight edge work fantastic too. Though you need a cutting mat under the fabric when you cut.

You can add a strip of fabric and run a rod on the back to hang it up if it’s getting fragile. It’s a perfect sized art piece.
It’s beautiful, and if y’all used all the time then you e done great grandma proud. They were meant to be used. Unless it’s super fragile, keep using it.
They were using the tacky glue to hold down the binding instead of using pins. Looks like they have to limit the sharpes they can use. Tacky glue is water soluble so works like some use regular Elmer’s.
