I feel very grateful to be learning healthy changes from a dietician, psych, and surgeon. My biggest obstacle will be body confidence, as of course I wanna be hot, which I may never confidently feel, but I’m doing my best to remind myself I’m doing something positive regardless.

I’m very proud of myself for losing weight pre-surgery. I’ve lost 7kg/15pounds so far, which at my size isn’t a huge amount, but to me, someone who hasn’t managed to lose anything at all in the past decade, it’s a big step.
