Did I spot an Ocean pulling into a car wash and then followed it though to get the most unique photos of an Ocean so far?
Maybe.
Yes.

Hope something else comes there soon. Was a prime people watching spot
This is good news but we have to drastically cut down the amount of time "temporary" projects retain that status. Reforming the community input, design, procurement and delivery processes needs to be a big priority of the Mamdani administration.
Housing is too expensive because we do not have enough homes in the places with jobs, not because the wrong people own them.
Effectively banning new build-to-rent single family housing will worsen the housing shortage and make it even harder for families to get into homeownership.
Itβs a bad idea.

This is an all time Arnab classic
how dare you say i take money
I like when @currylee.bsky.social shows up
Wow. So you want your grandma to be murdered by an e-bike?
If you really cared, you'd get her a safe car

Shots without the license plate count?
βif you wonβt let us use your product to spy on Americans and kill without supervision we will single-handedly destroy your business by fiatβ is the single most authoritarian anti-business action I can ever remember any administration taking

NYC Council Member Vickie Paladino (R) crashing out over a new apartment building in her district that will likely be approved tomorrow due to the "Affordable Housing Appeals Board" adopted by voters last November.
It's long, but the whole 7 minutes is worth it!
As the guy who wrote the book on zoning abolition, I'd like to go on record as saying: if you can use zoning to stop the concentration camps, fucking go for it.
People who live in other places are often surprised by my nonchalant attitude toward winter storms. But NYC power lines are underground, I live in an apartment building and don't own a car so there's nothing for me to shovel, and the subway and buses usually still run if I do need to go somewhere.
I cannot wait to see them in September and wave my arms around like a weirdo when they play Fabienk
Very glad I had them added to my BandsInTown account and managed to snag tickets
i really can't communicate strongly enough how much these guys rock youtu.be/0Ssi-9wS1so?...
this exists, itβs called effective altruism
Also, the cost of the hardware would be amortized over a long period of time, and charging for parking is gonna create a lot of revenue. And to be clear, I would strongly support any street parking reform in NYC that's on the table regardless of this specific implementation detail.
I hate that so many things need an app to work. Especially when thereβs lots of low quality slop with questionable security. Also, sometimes your phone is dead. Recently, there was a major Verizon outage, what are people supposed to do then? So Iβm generally going to prefer having a non-phone option
right, tbc having pay by phone as an option is great. but iβve seen some places make phone the only way to pay which is bad
does this video offend you
though on principle i hate systems that assume you have a smartphone with you
