So here I am, a few weeks after getting off the beta blocker, my foot speed and stamina have wildly improved! Best decision I've ever made. Glad my new doctor listened to me.
Trying to pass this song was what made me start to consider getting off the beta blocker for my blood pressure. It just felt like no matter how hard I tried, and how hard I was breathing, my heart just couldn't keep up with how much oxygen my muscles needed for this.

This song tried to kill me during ITL2025. I never passed it during the event, but I told myself to keep trying. I passed it a few times back in September with a rate modifier to slow it down, but today was the first time I passed it at full speed. I'm so thrilled to see how far my fitness has come!

My partner and I have been kicking around the idea of selling prints from our adventures. I think that we could carve out a nice little niche of selling bundles of landscapes along with birds that are local to that area. If anything, it could help fund our trips, ha.
I usually do a lot more nature/landscape. I just haven't had a chance to get out to places with prettier landscape lately, but there are always plenty of birds in the California central valley.
I'm still *very* new to wildlife photography, though. I bought this lens a few weeks ago, lol.

The really cool thing about not having kids and waking up long before sunrise is that time change doesn't really affect me all that much. Even my cats are chill because I have an automatic feeder that serves them breakfast, so they never know that's Daylight Savings exists.

As someone with a very disordered relationship with tracking food, it feels so strange, but empowering to be tracking my food to make sure I eat ENOUGH, and hit my protein, fiber and calcium goals.
