Hi son, it's Dad.
I want to tell you about Death Stranding.

A little nervous about finally putting this out into the world. Been working on it since last year and it's my most personal video yet. I hope you enjoy it β€οΈ
guy who's allergic to chillies and is like "oh no, it burns my mouth, i can't eat them"
furious whenever i have to show my ticket to the conductor how about you mind ur own business
Game studios in 1990 were called something like "Crystalline Aesthetics." Game studios in the 2000s were called something like "Brutal Iron Games." Game studios in the 2010s were called something like "MOON/flower"
doing the bit where roy kent leaves the sky sports studio all like "i have to go" but instead it's the unity project i'm working on and richmond fc is the video games are bad youtube channel, i've also started watching ted lasso
oh wow yeah
pronouncing it βchipottleβ
wow! this has made me furious!
Screenshot from the video game Persona 4. In the halls of Yasogami High, the protagonist talks to a male student labeled "Stylish student". His dialogue window reads: "Hanging out with women, going on dates with them, that's fine. Killing them? Not so much."
happy international women's day
same, it feels like I'm constantly riding the wave between breezing through everything or getting my ass kicked every time
[probably should have said "despite not much being changed" in the sense that the core of what you're doing is still the same, there are still a lot of changes!]
it's a sequel where you can tell they examined what works and what didn't with the original and really dialed in. there's so much surprise and novelty that it feels like I'm learning the game all over, despite not much being changed.
dude of COURSE slay the spire 2 is good, megacrit are geniuses, they have my sword and my axe. the decision to reign it back a little bit while still adding new mechanics and elements is such a well executed balance.
resident evil is undoubtably the best and funniest series to pick up on through osmosis. i know nothing about it, yet i know everything about it
next youβll be telling me i think video games are good
devastating
Tonight I found out @montyzander.bsky.social's name isn't Monty. A lengthy recovery process is anticipated
really does a fantastic job at positively answering the question "am i burned out on roguelike deckbuilders or are most of them juiceless"
mom says it's my turn to purchase Slay the Spire 2
i'd probably be down wats it for
i had to mess around a few times in the settings to get something i liked. the automatic limb selection is really bad, it should be off by default imo
idk I just think it's a weird thing to do. if a YT channel came out with "top 10 worst next fest games" then it would have been ridiculed for what it is, but, because it's former RPS staff, we have to hand wring about the game media's right to pithily dunk on indie games? I think they can do better.
the problem I have with this article is the concept itself. in a next fest filled to the brim with LLM produced garbage, I really don't see the point in bringing to light a selection of largely small developers who are fighting against that trend just to shit on them. you're not achieving anything.
wild that the discourse from this article has been whether or not you are allowed to criticise small indie games and studios, which is not actually the problem at all. obviously giving a negative review to any one of the games in this list is absolutely fine, but that's not what's happening here.
PS5 games arenβt going to be on PC anymore? So no change to the overall number of games on PC then?
If you smell toast, you might be having a stroke... a stroke of luck that is. Itβs toast time.
turns out itβs not true but this says a lot about society or something
