Iβm wearing baggy corduroy pants, sandals, and a tank top βοΈβοΈπ₯΅

Help me catch up? You're moving for the first time in 30 years? Smaller space? New town? I have a lot of experience with relocating
The thing we've found that works best for my spouse and kid (who both used to have terrible seasonal allergies) is allersode by pure formulas. They have regional blends
When you have an auditory processing disorder, nearly every conversation can feel like a game of telephone
Iβm not familiar with the witchy angle on nettles, but nettle tea is great for reducing inflammation and seasonal allergies πΏππ₯
Hm. I wouldβve never thought to combine the two! Hope you are able to squeeze a walk in later π
I love how the top is full of inclusions, but the bottom is so clear. Beautiful rock!
Sometimes theyβre a little loud, which can be annoying, but theyβre endangered, an important part of the ecosystem, and I canβt bring myself to have them removed
We live in an old wooden house in New England and have a rather large colony of little brown bats living under our aluminum siding and in our walls, especially around the brick chimney where itβs warm all winter
They reheat well! I usually make a batch that lasts a few days. On the stove, not the microwave π And then reheat in the microwave, one serving at a time
If you can find them, I think thick cut rolled oats are the best, but any rolled oats will do. Definitely not instant oats, they turn to mush. Steel cut oats donβt work well with overnight oats because they donβt soften up enough, as youβve discovered π§±π
Steel cut oats topped with sardines, spicy black bean chili paste, a splash of tamari soy sauce, and crispy leeks. I make a big pot of steel-cut oats every few days, and reheat one serving at a time. The sardines, lightly smoked and packed in olive oil, are room temperature, straight from the tin. Super nutritious, quick and easy to throw together, satisfying, budget-friendly, and delicious. Savory oats are one of my favorite meals, a staple, any time of day. #foodsky #recipe

Hey! You definitely donβt need to be sorry! π Fractures and cracking are not uncommon, every metalsmith (and I expect every lapidary artist) experiences this every once in a while. Itβs part of the process and the story of the piece. Itβs an honor and a pleasure to work with your stone!!! β₯οΈ
Yes! βοΈ And glad all the snow seems to be melting relatively slowly. You know, itβs actually kind of weird to see patches of dirt. Like, I knew it was there, but itβs been so long that I forgot how wonderful it feels to connect with it π€πΏ And that mineral smell in the air is sublime π
Wow. I had a feeling you were a strong soul. This confirms it. Sorry you had an exceptionally challenging start in life β₯οΈ Deep respect to you and your mom for putting the story out there.
Sounds like you know the author?
I appreciate that when their copper split, they kept that take and used it as a learning experience. Awesome
Yes coffee! π€ And love these! π€
And the outdoor space. The whole package π
Perhaps: anneal, push down part way, anneal again, push down more, et cetera? I bet @kindofstrange.com would have some thoughts on this?

Also, consider Tidal π Better audio quality, vast content (deep tracks I never heard when using apple or spotify), and Tidal supports and pays their artist more than other streaming platforms. After giving it a free spin for 30 days, I signed up for the family plan and my whole household loves it π€
Yep. Right there with you with the AGH!!!
Yeahhh. While part of me has accepted this as part of the process, itβs still hard to look at, so Iβm going to let it sit for a bit before proceeding with some sort of wabi sabi kintsugi π
This happens sometimes. My plan is to remove the stone, repair it (kintsugi), and replace the stone back into the same setting. Taking a deep breath and moving forward is all part of the process with any art. Perhaps the repair will be an improvement, aesthetically. Weβll see how it goes! Thx! π
Oof sorry, thatβs a big job. Essential, but no glamour! My young sweetfern and serviceberry were gnawed to the ground by critters this winter. I donβt know if theyβll come back. It hadnβt occurred to me to plant sumac! Thatβll be a great hardy native edible to add this spring πΏ

^^^ Dang. Unfortunately, this is no longer available, but you could probably find something similar β¦?
Two vintage rose quartz oblong teardrop donut shapes. Both are completely broken in two. Theyβre laying on a turkey feather and look a little bit like eyeballs. Pareidolia!
Dropped these vintage rose quartz elements as I was pulling them out of the bubble wrap packaging. Repaired using epoxy 330 and a gold-colored dust (japanese) purchased from someone on etsy. Of course, I canβt find a photo of the repaired stones, but they looked cool and sold quickly.
