It’s also the complete opposite of voting with your feet if you make a big song and dance about an article, thus driving people to find it and read it

It’s a constant effort to keep mine filled properly and I have to psych myself up to do it. Even then I still
have whole weeks where I’ve just forgotten about it and then wonder why I feel awful

I mean they were credible enough that he was arrested and it was brought to trial. I don’t know if he actually knows what ‘credible’ means

that is quite a lot of coffee. But to be fair, half the country is caffeined out their nut every day, even those who don’t have adhd

so it’s particularly shitty when people manage to get appropriate treatment for their adhd, which is stimulant medication, and are then labelled as ‘drug seeking’ anyway

I’m very fortunate in that I’m not prone to addiction at all. Not through any effort of mine, or willpower, or anything. Just not wired that way. Others aren’t so lucky

It’s particularly unfunny when you know that lots of people with adhd do self-medicate with caffeine and other stuff, and they do have higher rates of alcohol and substance misuse

I actually had a friend do it a while back and I had to make a conscious decision to not just laugh it off, and to tell them why it wasn’t funny

This is why I can’t stand it when people joke about adhd meds being ‘free meth’ and the like. It’s not funny.

Looks like someone’s gearing up for when SNP and Plaid sweep the board in May, eh?
