I'm just a random guy on the Internet. I enjoy theme parks, roller coasters, movies, music, and reading. Lives in Utah. Home park: Lagoon. I'm a little obsessed with computers and enjoy building and repairing them. Left Twix tastes better.

We are in the age of information wars & everything is designed to put you on tilt.
Take a deep breath.
Think about what you value.
Come back tomorrow.
I purchased my first Mac a few months after the $600 Mac Mini was announced because I felt that price would work for me on testing the waters using a Mac. Iโm note planning to buy a more powerful one later this year. A low-cost MacBook is a great idea.
1. Kevin slouches on his couch, bags under his eyes, playing his Switch. Next to him, an empty bag of Doritos and a few empty beer bottles. His bird, perched above him, leans in. "Ummโฆ are you okay?" the bird asks. Kevin replies, "I read that playing Tetris helps distract your brain from anxious thoughts." 2. His bird looks concerned. "You've been playing for the last nine hours straight," he says. Kevin looks up briefly. "Have you seen the news lately?" he asks his bird. 3. His bird looks off into the distance, thinking, as Kevin goes back to his game. 4. Kevin continues playing, his bird nestled under his arm. The bird lays its head on Kevin's chest, watching him play.

It might take a few weeks.
In the meantime, could I get your password so I can make sure it's still working properly? ๐

At this rate, I think my next toaster will probably include AI-powered image editing.
I thought I was going crazy that Reese's candy started to taste different. Seeing this article finally makes sense. It also saddens me as Reese's is one of my favorite candy brands, and I don't really enjoy it like I used to.

Living with the Land
Just finished watching Star Trek: Lower Decks. Such a good show.
I don't know why seeing this guy means six more weeks of winter, but who am I to argue with science?

The New York Times really failed here when they did not include the fact that Puerto Ricans (like Bad Bunny) _are_ Americans. Donโt be like the anonymous NFL player here. Know your country.
ICE is using administrative warrants to force their way into homes.
An AW allows officers to make immigration arrests, BUT ONLY IN PUBLIC.
As they are not CRIMINAL WARRANTS, they give officers NO authority to enter private property.
DO NOT OPEN YOUR DOOR if presented w/an AW.
Just finding out that there's a theater in Hollywood that has a facade that's a recreation of the Great Movie Ride building at the Disney-MGM Studios??
Kristie Noem claims Americans MUST provide proof of citizenship whenever asked.
That's expressly prohibited by 4th amendment to the Constitution.
...
I suggest you print the 4th (below) & keep it on your person.
If anybody asks for your papers, hand it to them.

Refurbishment already? Interesting.

I finally watched The Truman Show last year. It was so good, and I can't believe it took me that long to watch it!
Go watch!
Otherwise they'll take away my nerd card.
I wouldn't be surprised if some companies pivot this year and start calling AI something else to try and escape the backlash.
Interviewing Warren Davis tomorrow, the creator of Q*Bert. One of my favorite arcade games ever. Pretty excited to chat. Will post on CORE and Play Retro, etc.
Picked up a pair of Sony WH-1000XM6 headphones. They sound so good. I really love Cinema Mode. Going to be watching a lot of movies with these going forward.
