This was a really fun episode and based off of both of your love for these issues, you both probably started reading comics at a similar time as I did. McFarlane's art is still pretty damn exciting and fun. I just got the Michelinie/McFarlane omnibus and its a blast!

New Comic Day! Ultimate Spider-Man by #JonathanHickman #MarcoChecchetto! This run has so far been slower, more character based than your standard Spidey comics which is enjoyable. I’m definitely enjoying this but I am beginning to wonder where it’s going.

Ben Reilly, hands down. Scarlet Spider was awesome, but I especially loved when he took over as Spider-Man. That suit is still the best Spider-Man design to date. Who’s your favorite?

ASM #17 has the debut of the #Spiderman fan club as the Green Goblin shows up to pumpkin bomb the hell out of it. Flash Thompson being Spideys biggest fan is endlessly funny to me. Peter has to ditch the fight when he learns Aunt May has a heart attack. #StanLee #SteveDitko.
ASM #16 has the Circus of Crime and the first team up with Daredevil. I really enjoyed the action choreography in this issue and the Circus of Crime is endemic of the early silver age feel that leaves when #SteveDitko does. #StanLee #Spiderman. Early 60s Marvel is a hoot to read and it FEELS special
ASM #15 has the debut of Kraven the Hunter. I’ve always had a soft spot for ole Kraven and his smoking options. Here we get a solid fight at the zoo and deepening of Betty’s jealousy of Liz Allan. #SteveDitko #StanLee #Spiderman.
ASM#14 has the first appearance of the Green Goblin!!!!! The plot is NUTS! The Goblin pitches a movie involving him, #Spiderman, and the Enforcers! They share a van to the desert??? Anyone they all battle in a cave and the Hulk shows up. #SteveDitko #StanLee.
ASM #13-#17 by #SteveDitko and #StanLee! These issues are AMAZING (Pun very much intended). We get the first appearance of the Green Goblin and Kraven the Hunter, AND the first Daredevil-Spider-Man team up and the second Goblin battle. The balance of action and soap opera are perfect! #Spiderman
Yesss. The logic behind them definitely appeals to kid logic and I like that they exist. Silly but fun and cooler than Man Mountain Marko who shows up in the Romita era.
ASM#13 has the debut of Mysterio! I’ve always loved the #SteveDitko for Mysterio. The fish bowl is classic and the movie set brawl is a fun backdrop here. #Spiderman #StanLee.
It’s a wonderful little comic book and I love the whole vibe and the cast. Even little things like Flash loving Spider-Man but disliking Peter make me happy.
ASM#12 has #Spiderman defeated and unmasked by Doc Ock but Pete goes down so hard that nobody believes he is really Spider-Man which is something I enjoyed. #StanLee #SteveDitko

From ASM#10 we get Fancy Dan and the Enforcers! The Big Man also shows up and is revealed to fellow reporter Frederick Foswell. The Enforcers can only work in the Silver Age but I think they are fun. #Spiderman #SteveDitko #StanLee.
