The nostalgia turned into cliche.

Auschwitz was at the end of a process. We must remember that it did not start from gas chambers.
This hatred gradually developed: from ideas, words, stereotypes & prejudice through legal exclusion, dehumanization & escalating violence... to systematic and industrial murder.
Auschwitz took time.
Other headlines: "General strike brings Minnesota to a halt" "Why would you detain a 5-year-old child?" and that some children aren't going to school out of fear.
In Germany the public broadcasters try a "balanced" view. "Details are unclear... Protesters say so... Government says different..." ICE-thugs are called "government officials". They also report that ICE is sent only into blue states and use unnecessary violence.
Yes. Even twice with the same film. I wonder if one can have too many pictures in the head and then they fall out on the other side.
I can tell you how weird this feels from a European perspective! The US of A supposed to be our liberators. Now there's no difference to any other banana-republic. Can there be any trust between our countries any longer?
You never know, when it could be useful 🤷🏻♂️😅

As a German citizen I can tell you: as long as the public isn't going to stand up fast and in huge crowds it's lost regardless of a uniform.
He already got everything in place, it's just a matter of execution.
This is so sad to watch.
This is a fair wish, but now that Amazon quasi owns the franchise we will most likely get the opposite.
