Still looking for a male, who would have white areas on the wings, and a blue body to pose for me this season. Here we have a female dragonfly (or perhaps an immature male) with the characteristic dark patches on the wings and a yellow and brown body. Perching on a hawkweed stem with a background of dried grass and yellow flowers.
