4- ofcourse this does not take into account (cause the features are not there yet) the blockchain elements that blue sky & threads says they are building

3- Tweep’s “devotion” to twitter is evident over the past year of turmoil with new “leadership”. i can see Bluesky being a contender for the community aspect, if they open it up (still limited invites)- not sure if threads can capture the same vibe, so far it hasn’t.

2- the network effect or meta’s platforms pushing people to threads will jack up the numbers over the next month, that does not mean that MAUs will remains high after a couple of months (which is what really matters)

Intial thoughts on the current #Twitter vs #BlueSky vs #Threads mess:
1- threads cannot replace twitter or bluesky, because if instagram-users wanted to be on a twitter-like platform with twitter-like crowds, they would be on Twitter already. Instagram is a different platform (1/4)
