But neither does the mp10ii

My experience is that a mp6ii and mp10ii would drift. When manually aligned they’d be off by a few hundred samples within hours, causing very audible phase issues.

mp10ii does not have wordclock i/o, so you’re definitely drifting. record for more than a few hours and it’ll be obvious.

what mic are you using to record in 3rd order? or are you just up-upscaling? (Audio Brewers?)

I found a way of mounting them in WS1 size blimps, using the old hoop design. not crazy big, but still a royal PITA!

I have a quad set in blimps. Huge hassle to lug around but the result is almost always worth it. Wonderfully quiet.

Trying to figure out how to mount a pair of OC818s in an old large (stereo) rycote for ambisonic / double ms field recording. Not going to be swinging around on a boom but need to be secure enough to not displace in transit.
