This is blowing up on the other site, and rightly so. This is an industry end run around the Supreme Court decision on Prop 12. The court has ruled this is not a dormant commerce clause issue and yet the industry now wants to use federal legislation to overturn state-level animal welfare laws.
Arguably a war crime since this wasn’t even involved in battle, much less leaving another country to attempt rescue of any survivors. Despicable actions by our criminals in charge.

Seems like it should be common knowledge that mammals make milk for a baby, but so many people don’t understand what this actually means for these animals on the thousands of factory farms (and those considered “humane, certified, organic.”)

No protection, 11 sq ft of space, many cannot even turn around. Here is a photo I took of the crates at one such operation in California's central valley. Up to 90,000 calves held here. Some of these babies die from exposure, the "lucky" ill ones are shot in the head with a pellet gun.
