What is your advice for people attending the Halloweekend Conference in Iowa?
Come to have fun, learn and network. The people I met at my first conference have become critique partners, supporters and friends. And those are the things that lead to a published book. Also, check the weather. Halloween in Iowa can mean 70 degrees or snow - or both in the same day!
