If you don’t think Larry Ellison / Oracle and the other Trump-friendlies who took over TikTok US are going to suppress the ever-loving hell out of your algorithm, you’re wrong. Don’t give them that power.
Skylight is built on AT Protocol, the same open protocol Bluesky uses. That matters because the incentive structure is moved to the edge, not consolidated by the billionaires who own the platform.

💯. I do not know why our instinct is to delegate our opinions to people who are 'more qualified' in cases like this. You don't need a political science degree, much less to be a TV pundit to see what's going on.

I've also re-opened my automated print shop at darkroom.com/davidimel, since a lot of people have been asking for prints.
I still take custom orders over email where I can better control quality, use better paper, and sign/frame, but I wanted to offer a lower-cost option.
This is one of those ideas that's so good I'm annoyed I didn't do it first
