Everyone I speak to, either in my own school or on courses, regularly works between 50 and 60 hours a week. Obviously that's including directed hours though.

Me too. I needed it today after a very hectic week in school.

It was just beautiful. Chilly but just lovely to be out and about in nature.

My husband has had that book on his bedside table for years and hasn't opened it once, despite loving the Blade Runner films! It's a running joke in our house!

On World Book Day I’d like simply say that we need more libraries and book swaps. I’d like to see them everywhere. In every community, shopping centre, school, social club. Wherever we go. And they should be stocked with lots of brand new books as well as old ones.

It really is and being in their enthusiastic company is just a joy.

I find that wardrobes are surprisingly boring too. I've yet to find a doorway out of the back of a wardrobe into somewhere exciting!

I teach in Reception and we refer to it as PSED, as that's what the Early Learning Goals for it are called.

The Colour Monster is such a fantastic story for helping children to explain their feelings. Hope you have fun dressing up tomorrow!
