The script for the video essay on #over/under has passed 10k words and I haven't even gotten to October 24th yet...
A fake AI chatbot where I asked "Which member of the Beatles in their prime would most likely win a luge competition?" The fake AI response written by another human states "John Lennon would do anything to get away faster from Yoko's singing."
youraislopbores.me is a fun time, but I won't tolerate this Yoko hate.

This guy was the absolute worst
YESSSS, I was always surprised that Noah hadnβt done the Pillars series since heβs such an isometric rpg fan, so Iβm reveling in watching through this.
I am still in the process of writing the Over/Under video essay, so this diary is such an interesting read.

There is only one way to commemorate this occasion youtu.be/c0Je2c7ZJes?...
On this day eight years ago, James Foley concluded the Fifty Shades film trilogy with Fifty Shades Freed and Christian declared βYou know, youβre topping from the bottom.β
Twenty three years before that, I was born.
YouTube comments I'm cool with: "Yo, why don't you have many more subs?!" Tell be about it, buddy!
YouTube comments I'm not cool with: "Video starts at xx:xx" Don't think so, the video starts at 00:00, that's how videos work.
And yes, Gonzo Gatsby would still die in his pool in this version!
Except he dies trying to pull some elaborate stunt where he fills the pools with jello or something which he thinks will allow him to bounce across bay and make a dramatic landing at the green light.
Scott Wilson as George Wilson in the 1974 Gatsby Film
As for George, Bobo fits because the two also have a gullibility that can be used for potential violence. I can easily imagine him being manipulated into sabotaging Gonzo Gatsby's final stunt that he hopes will impress Camilla Buchanan, leading to his tragic end...
Initially, I thought Ms. Piggy would be great as Jordan because the two are equally self absorbed. But then I realized that one of the classic traits for Piggy is her constant desire to communicate her status and glamor even when it defies her reality, which is perfect for Myrtle Wilson.
Scooter the Muppet
Panels from the Great Gatsby graphic novel illustrated by Aya Morton https://ayamorton.myportfolio.com/the-great-gatsby-gatsby
Scooter works well as Nick since he is often portrayed as an unbiased observer, which Scooter often acts as, but Scooter also quite oblivious to the realities around him like Nick.
Camilla the Chicken

With Camilla, you could illustrate how voiceless Daisy is in her own life by the merit of Camilla only being able to communicate by Kermit and Fozzie translating her clucks for the audience.
Gonzo in a Tux
Gatsby Illustration by Simona Bonafini Source: https://www.behance.net/gallery/10536569/The-Great-Gatsby-(Personal-Illustrations)
Gonzo would work for Gatsby because the two are similarly ambitious and unsure of themselves. Just as Gatsby puts so much effort into people liking him, Gonzo puts so much effort into his stunts.
The actor for Tom could go in a lot of directions depending on how evil you want to play the character.
Dave Bautista or Jason Momoa both have comedic chops that could be used to portray him as an overly masculine meathead
Of if you want to subvert expectations, Leonardo DiCaprio would be funny
THE CAST:
Jay Gatsby - Gonzo
Daisy Buchanan - Camilla
Tom Buchanan - A Human Actor
Nick Carraway - Scooter
Jordan Baker - Miss Poogy, Mildred or Annie Sue maybe?
George Wilson - Bobo the Bear
Myrtle Wilson - Miss Piggy
But where's Kermit and Fozzie you may ask? Obviously they are the narrators.
I'm talking Muppets with a friend and she asked what classical novel should be made into a Muppet movie.
Lots of people have suggested Gatsby as an adaptation in the past, with Kermit and Piggy being Gatsby and Daisy.
But folks... the casting is so obvious... It's in the name!
Posters out :)
