Listening to the soundtrack to THE FELLOWSHIP OF THE RING, and it's so ridiculously good. Gotta love Howard Shore!

Everyone deserves to see themselves in the heroes in media, which is why I created a transwoman super-hero as one of the iconic characters for my game. It's why I revisited her in the supplement and introduced her in my Adventures in the Unknown game.
Those faces!! They could do anything and you wouldn't be able to stay mad at them.
Our dog just discovered she can yank the bottom edge of the couch cover (which often creates a little fold on the floor beneath the couch) and free toys that have gotten trapped there. She is almost as proud of herself as I am!
I LOVE the mailman!
This was wonderful to read today! Thank you for sharing this.
History is so critical for perspective -- and surprisingly good for the heart!
Photo of a cuneiform tablet fragment shaped a bit like an irregular diamond. It preserves nearly 20 incomplete lines of text separated by a horizontal ruling
There's a broken cuneiform tablet from the Old Babylonian period, nearly 4,000 years ago, which preserves a tiny portion of a dialogue between two friends.
It feels a bit like the conversations I've been having for the past week, so I wanted to share it.
So please, if you can, Iβd love to have this thread list pro-Trans everything. Creators, craftspeople, writers, artists, activistsβ¦if you or someone you know deserves some celebrating, bring it the fuck on, okay?
Post links if you can.

They hate when people stand up.
Non-writers are wondering why in the replies, and it's basically math. Authors typically make a few bucks or less /copy and even a Big 5 book can sell <10k and that might even meet expectations (depending). Like all things in capitalism, it's uneven, with a small minority of authors selling lots.
Exactly!!
That's adorable!
"Give us stories of satellites and sewists, terminals and tailors, dandies and dying stars.
Give us gossip wicked and vital, dinner parties salacious and droll, debutantes vile and intrepid.
Give us unforgivable rudeness and oppressive etiquette, scathing asides and dire gaffes."

It looks super cool!!
Cover of She Isn't Herself Tonight by Hailey Piper, art by Caroline Johnson, depicting a woman caught between neon lights, her face fracturing into reflections of itself. Beneath the title is a quote from Rachel Harrison calling the novel "Blissfully twisted and genuinely heartfelt."
Cover reveal day!
I'm thrilled to announce my new novel coming from @sagapressbooks.bsky.social, SHE ISN'T HERSELF TONIGHT

That's so cute.
Sheesh, the CAT is growling at the letter carrier now. These pets are so antisocial!
You might also mention it to your vet! They might see folks who don't want to keep a cat with calicivirus.
