Yesterday I got news that the American Golden Plover from July was accepted by the rarity comittee, which means that 2024 resulted in self-found Laughing Gull, AGP, Eurasian Hoopoe, Spotted Crake, YBW and European Stonechat within a radius of 2 km from my appartement. #Sistranda #FrΓΈya
In mid-October a presumed Central Asian Lesser Whitethroat (c.c. halimodendri) appeared at #Sula, #FrΓΈya. An individual showing all the characteristics of this subspecies (vocals, biometrics, outer tail feathers and colorisation). Yesterday the results came back, confirming it as the 3rd for Norway.
The Bruce's Green-Pigeon and the Masked Booby wasn't too bad either. All photos digiscoped with my phone through binoculars/scope.
